My Unpopular Opinions as a Social Media Manager
I love being a social media manager, but I'm not like a lot of these other people. I know I'll receive plenty of hate for what I'm about to say, but oh well. Here are my unpopular opinions as a social media manager.
You don't need to post every day!
You don't need to post every day to be successful on social media! I always focus on the quality of content instead of quantity.
Posting too much can make your followers feel like they're being spammed with your content, and it can also hurt your engagement rates.
Instead, focus on what YOU want to do and how YOU want to grow your audience and build trust with them over time. That way, you'll be prepared when opportunities arise that fit within your goals and vision for your business or brand

Follower count is not important
There is a lot of talk about follower count, but the truth is that it's not important. A follower account means nothing if you are not building a valuable community. I rather have 1000 followers who trust me as a creator than 100,000 followers that don't trust my advice.
I think the most important thing to keep in mind is that quality over quantity matters. The more people who trust your content and believe in your message, the better off you will be at driving engagement and sales.
If you have good content, then you can expect organic growth from social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook. This will result in more followers and likes on your posts.
Engagement is not defined by the algorithm
I think that it's important to understand that engagement is not defined by the algorithm. It's defined by your activity, frequency, and consistency with your account.
Engagement is not several followers or likes. It's the quality of those interactions and how often you're posting content that people want to engage with.
I've seen a lot of social media accounts over the years that have been able to build strong followings without resorting to buying fake followers or paying for sponsored posts (and I'm sure many of them will be reading this post).
It's more than just having a lot of followers though. If you want to grow your Instagram account organically (without resorting to buying fake followers), here are some steps you can take:
Create great content that people want to share with their audience - This is the most important step! If your content isn't good enough, then nobody will want to see it or share it with their followers. You can find inspiration from other accounts or create something unique yourself!
Take your time before publishing a post.
I always take my time, especially when it comes to social media posts. I want to make sure that my content is valuable, interesting, and engaging for my audience.
When you're posting on social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram, it's important to remember that you are competing with many other brands for your customer's attention. If your content isn't compelling enough to get them to stop scrolling through their feed and take the time to read it, then your efforts will be wasted.
The same goes for blog posts. I like to go back and read one of my older posts from time to time and ask myself if it still holds up as good content. If not, I rewrite it or update it so that it does.
